Belidor AI has closed a $7.9 million Series A round to scale an AI-powered operational intelligence platform for utility and industrial water treatment facilities.
The financing was announced on February 4, 2026, and co-led by T Bridge Venture Partners and 49th Fund. PACA Ventures, Nexenai Capital, and A195 Capital also participated.
Jerry Hanson founded Belidor AI to address the gap between the volume of information generated by treatment plants and the speed at which operational teams can turn that data into decisions. Facilities typically rely on a mixture of SCADA systems, historians, laboratory records, spreadsheets, paper logs, maintenance systems, and operator knowledge, creating fragmented workflows around performance analysis and reporting.
The company's platform consolidates those sources into a unified operating layer. Agent Zed, Belidor AI's AI process engineer, can answer questions using plant-specific evidence, analyse performance changes, generate charts, review uploaded data, and carry out scheduled monitoring or reporting jobs.
Belidor AI also provides digital twins and historical plant audits, configurable dashboards, calculated metrics, alerts, notifications, task management, operating procedures, and data integrations. The software is designed to identify abnormal conditions, forecast threshold crossings, surface missing data, and connect findings to the work required to resolve them.
The platform uses read-only connections to plant control data. It does not modify setpoints or issue commands, allowing Belidor AI to operate as a decision-support layer alongside existing infrastructure and operator expertise.
The company addresses wastewater, drinking water, industrial water, food and beverage, desalination, and water reuse markets. These facilities face increasing pressure to improve compliance, uptime, cost efficiency, and workforce knowledge while avoiding disruptive replacements of core operating systems.
The Series A gives Belidor AI additional resources to advance product development, strengthen implementation support, and pursue wider adoption across utility and industrial water operations.
