Zenity, the AI security and governance platform built specifically for AI agents, has closed a $125m Series C round.
The round was led by Norwest, with new backers Qumra Capital, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Hitachi Ventures and LG Technology Ventures joining existing investors Vertex Ventures, Third Point Ventures, DTCP and Intel Capital. The capital will fund global expansion, further platform development and rising enterprise demand for agent-focused security.
While much of the cybersecurity industry has concentrated on defending models or inspecting individual prompts, Zenity argues the threat has moved on. Agents can now reach critical systems, call tools, make decisions and act on them, demanding controls designed for autonomy rather than static software.
Its platform works by interpreting an agent's intent, then deterministically permitting, altering or blocking an action before it happens, separating legitimate work from behaviour that has been hijacked or strays beyond its purpose.
This coverage spans any agentic framework, from Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise and Gemini, through coding agents such as Claude, Codex and Cursor, to bespoke systems on AWS Bedrock and AgentCore, Microsoft Foundry and Google Vertex AI.
The company counts most of its client base among the Fortune 500, Global 2000 and other major global organisations, including SoftBank Corp, with its oldest customers featuring numerous Fortune 50 firms.
It operates across financial services, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, technology, energy, manufacturing and other heavily regulated sectors. Revenue has tripled in each of the last two years, with the same trajectory expected this year.
Zenity's standing was underlined earlier this year when Gartner named it the frontrunner in AI agent governance in an April 2026 report, pointing to its agentic-centric architecture and intent-aware detection. Beyond its commercial platform, the firm contributes to OWASP Top 10 frameworks and open-source initiatives such as MITRE ATLAS.
Its research arm, Zenity Labs, has surfaced a string of significant vulnerabilities, including AgentFlayer, a new class of zero-click attacks able to silently commandeer enterprise agents, alongside findings showing how a malicious calendar invite could hijack Perplexity's Comet browser, a flaw in Microsoft Copilot Studio, and how a poisoned ChatGPT document could exfiltrate data via connected services like Google Drive and SharePoint.
Zenity now employs over 230 people worldwide, with R&D in Tel Aviv and commercial operations run from New York. The funding will grow Zenity Labs, deepen its presence in Europe and Asia Pacific, and support its work shaping enterprise security standards for agentic AI.
