InvoiceCloud, a digital billing and payments firm, has formed an alliance with public sector software provider CentralSquare Technologies to bring integrated payment experiences to governments and utilities across North America.

The partnership connects InvoiceCloud's payments platform with CentralSquare's public administration software through a pre-built integration. The aim is to give public bodies a straightforward route to offering residents convenient digital payment options, while speeding up collections, cutting down on manual tasks and reducing operating expenses.

Public sector organisations face mounting demands to deliver quick, intuitive self-service experiences for residents, all while running efficiently and safeguarding sensitive information. The combined offering is designed to cut implementation complexity and remove friction caused by disconnected billing and payment processes. Residents will be able to pay securely online, via mobile, by phone, through text or using AutoPay.

Beyond payment channels, InvoiceCloud's technology encourages digital uptake with automated reminders, paperless billing and self-service tools. Paired with CentralSquare's systems, these features are intended to trim manual payment processing, sharpen cash flow visibility, bring down print and postage spend, and free up staff to concentrate on their communities.

InvoiceCloud offers digital payment, customer engagement and outbound disbursement solutions, serving over 3,250 customers spanning the utility, government and insurance sectors. The company is a leader in electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP), and its SaaS platform supports ongoing improvements to customer experience, driving higher digital payment, AutoPay and paperless adoption.

CentralSquare Technologies CEO Manolis Kotzabasakis said, 'Our customers want modern technology that works together and makes it easier to serve their communities.

'Our alliance with InvoiceCloud delivers a seamless, resident-first payment experience that integrates directly with the systems agencies rely on every day. Together, we're helping organizations modernize citizen services with technology built specifically for the public sector.'

InvoiceCloud CEO Kevin O'Brien said, 'InvoiceCloud was built to make bill payment effortless for payers and easier to manage for the organizations behind them.

'CentralSquare supports thousands of public sector customers across North America, and this alliance gives us a meaningful way to extend modern payment experiences to more communities. Our shared focus is helping organizations move faster, operate more efficiently, and create better experiences for the people they serve.'
